Born from a Master’s Capstone, Dishing Out Diplomacy is a platform where we talk about diplomacy and international relations in a way that is relatable to us.
THE ORGIN STORY: I realized while studying International Relations, the information I was learning was valuable but, not presented in a digestible way for the public. Thus, I sought to combine the knowledge of international relations and diplomacy with communications. Dishing out Diplomacy began as a title for my capstone on gastrodiplomacy (see the What’s on the Diplomatic Menu? post on the blog to learn more) yet I saw the potential for it to expand to other topics in future. That’s the story.
FEATURED: “What’s on the Diplomatic Menu? : A Case Study on Gastrodiplomacy”. Food is an important part of our culture but, did you know that countries are using it as a way to connect with foreign audiences? In this first segment of Dishing out Diplomacy we will talk out how countries are incorporating food in their foreign policy strategies.
